It’s a new year! For many, the turning of a year brings a feeling of renewing, starting over, looking forward, launching ahead. It’s a fresh beginning to better things. At least that’s what we hope for. We make strides and efforts to set goals, make resolutions, and outline a vision for the future. And why not? It’s a good thing to believe that your new year can bigger, better, and brighter than the previous one. What excites me so much about the new year is the new challenges and great opportunities it brings. And on that note, here are a few things that I am looking forward to in 2008:
- I start a new job in a couple weeks. Very excited about this change. It is a positive career move. I’ll fill you in with more details later.
- Teaching classes on Financial Peace at my church. (Can “financial” and “peace” actually be used in the same sentence? The answer is…..YES, they can and should!)
- Buying our first home. Hopefully by summer. Woo-hoo!!
- Expanding The O Candle business. I want every home in America to have an O Candle in it!
- Getting my Bachelor’s degree. There’s a chance I could finish by the end of the year.
- Reading more. I want to continue to strectch my mind for as far as it will go.
I wish you all the very best and a GREAT 2008! May it be a year filled with promise and opportunity.
The way to have financial peace is to become a multi billionare, move to a desert location away from civilaztion become a hermit, ditch all your friends and talk to no one, no internet,tv,and give your kids up for adoption. After doing all that your depressed then you need a thearpist which leads in to medical in which they will tell you that you are nuts for being a hermit so you give in move back to the city get your kids back and then file bankruptcy and die of something terrible because you could not afford health insurance.
there is no hope of financial peace untill the rapture
haha! Thank God I don’t agree. 🙂
I’m glad 2008 is starting off so well for you Jeremy. It couldn’t happen to a nicer person!
excuse me! the only way you can have financial peace is to pay your tithes with out fail. it just works, even if you have to live in the dark and wrap up in a blanket for a day or 2. Thats when the classes sink in and start to work.
wisdom comes with determination.Other wise sell everything move to no mans land.
BUT CLASSES ARE A GOOD THING.
Thanks, Chip! You’re too kind.
