Last weekend, my dad urged me to watch the movie, Peaceful Warrior, starring Nick Nolte. I really didn’t know what to expect, especially since I’m not really a fan of Nick Nolte. Nevertheless, I’m so glad I watched it. The film was awesome. I’ll even go a step further and say that it has forever impacted the way I think and live my life.

I won’t bore you with the details of the storyline, you’ll just have to rent it yourself. The movie is a bit Rocky-esque, but the real point of the movie isn’t about some underdog gaining the victory against all odds. It’s about the power of mentorship. The power of being tuned in to the moment. The power of paying attention to the purpose behind every situation. The power of enjoying the journey – not just holding out for the destination. The power of letting go of the junk you allow to take residence in your mind. The power of finding yourself.

Again, highly recommended. Just check it out. http://www.thepeacefulwarriormovie.com/
